Let’s Get Social

As you have probably noticed, this year the GHSC is making is a few changes, one of those being embracing Social Media. YAY!

Social Media is a great way to get a vast amount of information in a short amount of time. Our goal this year as the GHSC is to have a catalog of information easily accessible with just a few clicks. We will be making the switch from paper correspondence to solely digital communication and will be working diligently to make that transition easy and user-friendly.

With that said, we ask you to check out the Social Media sites we are currently using and updating regularly. If and when we add more, we will of course let you know with a TWEET or a POST! LOL.

GHSC BLOG: (https://ghsc.net/news/) Come here and/or subscribe for post on event updates, important reminders, FAQ’s, etc.

My School Anywhere: (https://www.myschoolanywhere.com) This will be your other main resource for all things volunteering, fundraising and communicating.

Facebook Group: (https://www.facebook.com/groups/GuadalupeHSC) This is a great forum for parents to discuss current topics or questions. We will also be posting links to important posts/reminders as they come up. Also, should be noted that this is a private group so you can feel safe to share personal photos of school events, etc.

Twitter: (https://twitter.com/GuadalupeHSC) This stream of consciousness will keep you updated with a live stream of events, meetings and current topics the GHSC and school find important.

Flickr: (https://www.flickr.com/photos/146276984@N02/albums) We will be taking pictures of events, meetings and our fabulous school.

Pinterest: (https://www.pinterest.com/ghscfundraising/) This is a great resource of fundraising inspiration and tips.

Lastly, with any Social Media site, the main goal is engagement and community so SPEAK UP! We want to hear from you, chat with you and make lasting connections that will help strengthen our school and our kids.
