Walk & Roll

Guadalupe works with the City of San Jose’s Walk & Roll program each year to promote safe travels for Guadalupe families to and from campus. Each year, team members from the program host safety assemblies with the students and staff.

The WALK & ROLL site is a wealth of information for parents and students.

Safe Routes to School National Partnership ~ Walk & Roll has partnered with Safe Routes to School Program to build safe route maps for schools in the south bay. Guadalupe has been chosen as part of their next mapping slated for the 2023/24 school year. When this map is issued to Guadalupe, we will provide a link on the Guadalupe School Site and in the GHSC Newsletter at the start of each school year.

4th Grade BIKE RODEO ~ This on-campus program invites students to ride their bikes and scooters to school to learn about bike safety. The goal is to prepare and promote them to bike in their middle school years. Students learn how to ride their bikes while following bike laws. The program also allows students who do not have helmets to get a free helmets. If you want a helmet, please request one from your 4th-grade teacher.
